Volunteering and Mentoring

Volunteering

We have volunteer opportunities available all the time.  If you are interested in helping with things behind the scenes or working on a production please check out the available positions and then click the link to apply.

Production Team

This is where you'll find the leaders and designers for our shows. We're looking for people who have big ideas, work well with others, and will work hard to get the job done.

Sample positions: director, stage manager, choreographer, designers (lights, costumes, props, sound, etc.)

Theater Group
Supporting Team

Our supporting team volunteers are the worker bees. They really get the job done! Maybe you've always wanted to learn more about an aspect of theater - this is a great place to start.

Sample positions: fundraising committee, play-reading committee, theater maintenance, all stage crews (set, costumes, makeup, etc.)

Leading Team

In addition to putting on shows, there's the work of actually running the theater. This is where the leading team comes in. Take a peek behind the curtain to see how things get done.

Mentoring

Introducing our new Mentorship Program!  Starlight is proud of its mission as an educational theater, and wants to give you the chance to learn (or teach) a new skill.
​
Interested in learning more about one of the positions listed above, but you’d love the opportunity to shadow someone first?  Or, do you already have experience but would like to mentor and share your knowledge?

In both cases, click the blue Mentorship Form button and fill out the appropriate sections so we know what you're interested in. We'll be in touch when an opportunity arises for you to be a part of an upcoming production!
