STARLIGHT COMMUNITY THEATER TO CLOSE THROUGH MARCH 31, 2020 AMID COVID-19 CONCERN.
Greetings from the Starlight Community Theater Board Members,
We are sure you are aware of the recent recommendations made by national, state and local officials aimed at reducing the spread of the coronavirus. As a result, Starlight Community Theater is joining the many other arts organizations throughout our region and temporarily closing our doors. Effective immediately we will suspend all activities, including rehearsals and performances, planned now through March 31. We will take the next two weeks to monitor the recommendations put in place by health officials regarding social distancing and group gatherings. Beginning April 1, it is our intention to provide weekly updates as to when and how theater activities will resume.
Our extended Starlight family is at the center of every decision we make. The health and safety of our artists, patrons and volunteers, is our top priority.
These are extraordinary times, but theater is the very act of coming together for a shared experience. When it is once again safe to gather, we look forward to sharing stories of compassion and resiliency with audiences of all ages.
All our best to all of you.
Stacy Gibbon, President, Starlight Community Theater Board of Directors
Nena Rippenkroeger, Managing Director, Starlight Community Theater
Dan Ashlock, Artistic Director, Starlight Community Theater
